A cost effective creation process for BDMPT

It has been shown in the literature that symmetrical tetrazine derivatives are ideal candidates for gas generator, propellant and explosive formulations. Exemplary research done by Coburn, Chavez and Hiskey at the Los Alamos National Laboratory has shown 3,6-Bis(3,5-Dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-1,2,4,5-Tetrazine is an ideal starting compound to make these derivatives.
